<p>Grades in Academic Classes</p>
<p>Consideration will be given to applicants who have a grade point average of B or better (3.0 or higher on a 4.0-point scale) in their college-preparatory courses. In fall 2012, the middle 50 percent range for GPA for admitted freshmen was 3.4-4.0.</p>
<p>Standardized Test Scores</p>
<p>IU Bloomington requires scores from the SAT and/or the ACT and considers only official test scores sent directly from the testing agencies. </p>
<p>It is important to submit all test scores to IU because during the admission review process, well consider the highest critical reading and math component scores for the SAT. For the ACT, we’ll combine the highest scores for each subtest from different exams for a new ACT composite. In fall 2012, the middle 50 percent range of SAT scores for admitted freshmen was 11101290 (critical reading and math only), and the middle 50 percent range of ACT scores was 2530.</p>
