What is the record for SAT score increase?

10th PSAT Score: 162
11th PSAT Score: 181
11th SAT Score: 2210
Almost a 600 point jump.

@jd989898 did your scores get delayed?

Last year I got a 183 PSAT. I took the 2006 PSAT today and got a 214. This was with roughly 6 weeks of prep.

People need to stop posting practice scores and projected scores. Those mean absolutely nothing.

10th psat: 177
11th psat: 200
11th SAT: 2110
12th SAT: I’ll let you know in 11 days ;)

Not sure if this counts, but:

1780 SAT (8th grade “talent search”)
2360 SAT (junior year Oct)

…pretty sure I slipped back on the last SAT though.

Just reminded me: only 11 more days! time is going by wayyy faster this time around

There was a poster on another thread who claimed to have a ~1000 point jump.

Here is an interesting article on the subject

For S:

Sophomore PSAT: 173

Junior year PSAT: to be taken on Oct 12, 2011
Junior year SAT : taken on Oct 01, 2011

1560 to 2090. Perhaps, I think I can get up to 2200+ now.
