What is your best, fastest and easiest way to clean your bathtub?

“Most of the people I know that have giant tubs are ripping them out to put in huge showers.”

Our builder could see into the future, LOL. 15 years ago, he put in a giant shower good enough for 2 people (2 showerheads with separate controls) and a mega tub without jets (this was the time when a Jacuzzi tub was a must have item).

I think I see where the question about better cleaning products comes from. The shaving leads to way more gunk in the bathroom! Since neither of us shaves in the shower or in the bathtub, cleaning is easy (Mr B takes care of his beard over the sink, and I mostly dry-shave my legs),

There are some shaving cream brands with a coating on the bottom edge of the can - try Aveeno. Of course it’s more expensive. Another trick is to use one of those beer can foam holders - forget what they’re called - the advantage there is if you drop it on your foot there’s a cushion. They fit the fatter cans like Barbasol.

Thanks All!
Osprey: I’ve heard of CLR…now I’ll go buy some! The boys have been shaving in front of the sink mirror lately, so I just need to clean the tub shelves of the rust rings and hopefully they’ll continue to use the sink & mirror. In fact, I’ll encourage it! ^^lefthand: Great idea to use those foam holders!
We have three bathrooms in the house and two have been completely remodeled. The boys bathroom is original 1950’s but in excellent shape, except for these rust rings that I’ll take care of now. Thanks again! :)
