Off the top of my head right now, I love “The Poisonwood Bible” by Barbara Kingsolver.
When I was a young teen - “Anne of Green Gables”.
I also love GWTW (and the movie, too.)
LasMas - “…And The Ladies of The Club” was a book I read YEARS ago and I just mentioned it within the past month at my book group. Before that I hadn’t thought of it in years :)

Centennial
The Agony and the Ecstasy

Giants in the Earth, by O.E. Rolvaag, one of the great underrated novels of all time.

When I was young (and I admit I still have three copies on my bookshelf, including one on my nightstand) How to be Topp by Geoffrey Willians. Spelling is not necessary.

And as a parent of young boys Richard Scarry’s Cars and Trucks and Things That Go. It saved many a car trip, long afternoon, etc., etc. etc.

Crossing To Safety (also love Angle of Repose, both by Wallace Stegner)
