I love the mochi green tea and mochi mango ice cream balls… Sticky rice wrapper and yummy ice cream. Delish!

I love those mochi from tj’s. They had a special mango sherbet and it was terrible. So bad that I tried them twice and threw the rest out. I never do that but I wasn’t wasting calories over something that I thought was so terrible.
These were part of the special mango foods at tj’s right now. Not the regular mochi, which that mango flavor is so good.
TJ’s used to carry this lovely tangy plain frozen yogurt —almost like frozen sour cream. So good. The stuff they have now doesn’t work for me.
I should have never opened this thread. I usually don’t have ice cream in my freezer. This past week I’ve bought 5 pints. I think I finished 1 entire pint of Talenti Salted caramel on my own. I have a 2nd unopened pint in the freezer. Two of my kids came over yesterday and were “what the heck” Mom bought ice cream. They both went home happy.
I don’t know what anyone else is doing this weekend, but I plan on trying one of these recipes! Sea salt gelato…mascarpone ice cream…sour cream ice cream with strawberries and brown sugar…the only question is which one!
That’s sour cream ice cream w/strawberries and brown sugar sounds an looks amazing. Report back @sabaray if you give the recipes a try.
