<p>OP, we have lived in both NYC suburbs, and San Francisco suburbs, and you really should experiment with that. Husband and I are both MD’s, although not the big earner types, and we like to say living in a suburb allows us to party like rock stars in “The City”. True, it is not the same, but Brooklyn in particular, near a subway, is a pretty sweet deal.</p>
