<p>I listen to mostly classical and jazz (both standards and free jazz) with a touch of just about everything else. </p>
<p>Currently I am listening heavily to jazz pianist Brad Mehldau (If anyone wants an extremely mellow album with a 19:30 rendition of Paranoid Android, go to your local music store and buy his new album Live in Tokyo or buy it off of ITunes) as well as Radiohead. </p>
<p>I like more inventive music that strays from the mainstream. I dislike most modern rock and pop because I find all bands of that caliber to be the same in style, lyrics and rhythm. </p>
<p>My favorite bands/artists are Brad Mehldau, Radiohead, Thievery Corporation, Sigur Ros and Charlie Parker.</p>
<p>I just listened to this Promise Ring cd I got a little while ago, and I really like it. I was thinking maybe you guys might know them since Sunny Day is kind of the same genre.</p>

<p>I don’t listen to that many trumpet players. I am fascinated by Davis’s music…Birds of Paradise and Sketches of Spain are two of his best works, IMO…</p>

I'm not trying to bash Linkin Park, but who the hell are these guys? musician(nooooooooo) or businessman(yessssssss)? They know exactly how to sell a piece of crap. I swear, they would sell wheelchairs to teenagers if it was their job!!! I am trying too hard to convince my brother to stop listening to these kind of stuff! One day he will learn his listen. He will understand that there is no difference between Linkin Park and NSYNC or Backstreet Boys!!! They are temporary bands that become popular overnight and day as fast!! I`m hopeful that my brother and others learn their lesson!!!(jk) <em>hopeful--gazes at the horizon</em></p>
