What makes Princeton unique?

Pretty self-explanatory- what makes Princeton different?

All I can think of is strong undergraduate focus, pretty campus and the eating clubs?

This thread may help answer your question:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/princeton-university/902375-101-reasons-attend-princeton.html

It really is an amazing place!

It has the highest legacy admit rate in the Ivy League…possibly in the United States and, therefore, the world.

That’s pretty unique!

Lol. Both tortoise and BrownBag2015 are both Harvard trolls.

Anyways, Princeton has a very awesome, unique culture that you should definitely check out at Princeton Preview!

Very, very good in all STEM fields. Pioneers in compsci, famous mathematicians, science Nobel laureates, top 10 ranked UG engineering (Yale is … drumroll 44th in UG engineering!). Brand new Frick Chemistry building has attracted top talent from other universities who want to use shiny new equipment like a massive NMR machine that will be coming in. Microsoft, Google, Facebook come on-campus to recruit all the time and host hackathons, etc.

No need to mention Goldman Sachs and all the other bulge-brackets that come looking for top-tier finance kids. There are basically two, possibly three schools from which you can easily get into Wall Street with a degree in anything (comp lit, Bio, music): Harvard, Princeton, and maybe Yale.

What’s the best part about the campus?
