Last year, the acceptance rate was 36% out of a pool of ~1500 applicants (which is about 540), but this year, they accepted 600 applicants out of a pool of 2040 applicants. They accepted more people, but the acceptance rate is significantly lower, because of the steep rise in number of applicants.</p>
