What school was unexpectedly your favorite when you visited?

@NEPatsGirl that’s funny because my son wouldn’t even get out of the car when we went to U of Scranton! Completely turned off by the city of Scranton!

I’ve spend at least a couple dozen days at Vassar and witnessed smokers only a few times. Some of the smokers who annoyed me as well were local kids cutting through campus. Nonetheless, the entire campus became smoke-free two years ago.

Franklin & Marshall. Talk about a hidden gem. Lovely little town (Lancaster, PA), lovely campus, engaged students, great history. Expensive though, and no merit aid.

First child- Berkeley; she only applied because we made her choose at least one UC (matriculated at Berkeley). Second child- USC (matriculated at UCSB)

@crewdad, Hello. Could be that it was not during the school semester but sometime in August before school started. Maybe there was a summer program going on. I am very happy to hear they are now smoke free. But alas, that ship has sailed for us anyways.
