That’s not a bad thing at all. And trust me when I say this…it’s REALLY common for this to happen. But the kids that DO decide to go, won’t typically post it on these forums. We’re in the EXACT same situation as you. The financial aid package came up pathetically short, and our daughter reluctantly chose community college. There are some real advantages. You can be basically debt free for your first 2 years. Love it! You’re going to save a ton of debt going there.
