What should I do? UCB from DNZA or SJSU

If you don’t want to go to SJSU, the choice is pretty simple. De Anza it is… Just, don’t fixate on a single campus as your sole transfer target. Transfer admission to the top UCs is very competitive and you may wind up at another UC or CSU.

You can transfer after a year but, you need the 60 units accumulated by the end of the Spring - not summer. With 4 AP courses, that is a tall order. 12 units over the summer, 18 Fall and 18 Spring leaves you 3 units short and is a heavier course load than most can handle while earning a competitive GPA. A course or two @ DeAnza in the Spring will put you over the mark - but, that’s a LOT of work for a graduating senior.
