What SSAT percentile do prep schools look for in applicants?

You are missing the point. Please reread @lilyesh 's post: once your test score is within the range of the school you are applying to, retaking the exam to get a higher percentile doesn’t enhance your application.

Anything above 50th percentile is above average. :wink: By definition of “percentile”.

The SSATs are taken by a relatively small group of students, so the percentiles are skewed.
