What state in the USA has the highest curriculum?

@PP: Well, I live in Loudoun, so that’s good to hear.

The problem with using PSAT scores to measure is that not all states take the same exam. At my school, all the juniors take the ACT, and only the gifted kids take the SAT.

MS has one of the highest SAT scores in the country, but that’s because all juniors are required to take the ACT, which encourages more kids to retake the ACT (if they want to retake) rather than doing the SAT. Only the select elite kids take the SAT. So test scores can be misleading based on who takes them.

For the record, their ACT score is at or near the bottom.

Alaska has good public schools because of all the oil money.

I live in Massachusetts, I go to a good public high school (ranked very well, does well on standardized tests, etc.), and there are only 2-3 juniors each year max who are taking “higher” classes than precalc. The standard high school sequence is geometry, alg II, precalc/trig, calculus, for those who are proficient at math.

if public schools in NJ have one of the highest curriculums in the US, then the US is in alot of trouble

I go to one of the top 15 public schools in NJ and it’s good, but it shouldn’t really be “top.”

Stressedout, mine isn’t one of the top 15, but it’s put about 10-20 kids into top 15-20 colleges each year.

Georgia’s meh, but mine’s not too bad. The whole Atlanta Public Schools’ scandal is pretty sad, especially since I attended that school system for 10 years… ahem. There are a few schools in APS that are good but overall it kinda stinks. That’s pretty much Georgia in general.

How about China? xD
