What the College Board Really Ought to Do

Not sure if I disagree more with the conclusion that with the statement!

A conclusive analysis of the correlation (based on verifiable data) would help the admission officers to weigh the score correctly. This would in fact render the SAT even more valuable than it is today. In addition, since no organization in the country possesses the amount of data on college applicants, it would further increase the ETS/TCB’s well deserved superiority – of course, if integrity and depth of information is relevant to start with.

For all the SAT detractors’ wishdul thinking, it is good to remember that NO organization has --thus far-- challenged the SAT by offering a BETTER mousetrap, and this includes the “wannabe ETS/TCB” Iowans. And, it might also be good to remember what a world without an impartial and comprehensive test would mean: a paradise for gamesmanship and fictional GPAs!
