<p>I’m transferring to Emory. I’m leaving from New York by plane so I am limited to luggage space, however the most important things you can bring are your electronics; laptop, hardrives, shaver (If you’re a male), good calculator, etc.
Having the correct electronics can make your life so much easier in college.
In my case I’m also bringing two monitors because having more than one monitor is tremendously helpful when writing lab reports, essays, etc.</p>
<p>Of course bring some necessities to get you started off like a toothbrush, comb, etc.
You can then buy all of the necessities once you get settles in.
As for the printer, I will advise you bring it. In my old college, everybody printed at school and you will not believe how many people got Fs simply because the college printers didn’t work. Having your own printer will save you a lot of trouble.</p>
