What to bring when studying abroad for 6 months

<p>The regional t-shirt giveaway is a good idea. </p>

<p>When we traveled to Europe last year I had a few pieces of clothing that had been destined for the giveaway pile. I threw them away there (actually hung them on edge of hotel trash bin, in case the maid could find a new life for them). That gave me more room to bring things home ;)</p>

<p>My daughter’s liked the backpack/carryon, it served as a good weekender when traveling and fit most carryon regulations. She was surprised how much it held.
The Motherlode weekender was very versatile and they have similar models in varying prices.</p>
