<p>Having my roof done today. Did not hear from anybody, hope that they are hard at work. Started wondering how it will look when I get home. I hope that they are done and gone (no willfull misunderstanding here) by the time I get there.</p>

<p>Whenever we have that kind of situation we like to ask the high bidder why they’re priced so high relative to their competition. Most of the time they’re just trying to make a bundle, but there’ve been times we’ve taken the higher bid because it ended up including more (e.g. better workmanship, permits, etc). </p>
<p>Construction started this morning on new pools next door (two new houses). I love watching the bulldozer, reminds me of Mike Mulligan and his steam shovel Mary Ann. :)</p>
