Also, I’ve never met a nice librarian.

Poe’s Law!

lol, platts. i’ve never met a nice librarian. i’m sure there are some but i keep getting these real nasty ones.

the most books i’ve ever had out is 7, which is the max at my high school. i’ve never checked any out at the local public library because my older brother has a book out that’s like 5+ years old that he’s never paid for and our entire family has been ducking the place since. i do study in there though but no checking books

Really?!

All the librarians I’ve met at my U’s library have been super nice and helpful. They like that people are genuinely interested in their help, I think.

3 - one on a 2 month loan, two 2-hour course reserves. I currently have one book checked out.

More than half of my family has been a librarian at one time or another. My brother has access to the library records of everyone at the University (including football/basketball coaches). He can also make changes, but I assume he would be fired if he were making arbitrary changes to people’s accounts.

7 physically checked out right now and 3 electronically checked out - I’m stressed out so I’m just reading novels and its really helpful - I read like 2-3 novels these days a week and now I’m listening to audio tapes too rather than music so I’m reading/listening to two books at once.

Haven’t checked out a single book since starting college. Last time I checked something out was probably sophomore year of HS. I go to my school’s library to study or do something on the computer, but I’ve never touched a book that wasn’t mine while there.

Probably over 90% of the papers I write are lab reports, and I get information from them through published research articles that I can find online.

Freshman year I had a project for both global and english and a physical science lab report to do, so I had about 18 books from the school library

the most books i have checked out would be 6 in middle school.
