What will happen to male only and female only sports? Will womens sports be destroyed?

It will be very interesting to see how this is handled if a male athlete who is a high level professional, collegiate, or Olympic athlete transitions at a young age. It does pose very difficult issues.

It may not be a completely settled issue (different sports organizations do not necessarily have the same policies), but it is not like no one has thought about it before anyone posted on this thread.

Absolutely agree ucbalumnus…much thought and discussion have taken place. I do think it remains a complex issue in today’s sports world where reasonable arguments can be made on both sides of the issue.

“Prospective students will be asked to choose between male, female, trans male, trans female, gender queer/gender non-conforming and different identity.” I have no idea what some of these even mean…Could make for a lot more Olympic champions!
