I would like to go to UCLA, but it’s not really important to me. Also depends on how much financial aid I get from UCLA. If they don’t hook me up like UCSB did, then screw them, I’m gonna go party hard in SB.</p>

<p>I just got rejected today. I had a sinking feeling in my stomach when I read the news online. I will get over it though. So far, I have gotten into UCSC and UCSB in the art program. Apparently, UCLA did not think I took enough classes in preparation for the major. What can you do? It was hard enough working art classes into my schedule with all the IGETC requirements. I have a 3.5 and had a pretty strong portfolio, but UCLA is really competitive for the art major. 9% acceptance rate competitive. I will show them what they passed on one day. I’m gonna make my masterpiece at UCSB and write F*** UCLA on it.</p>

<p>Well, I don’t know their exact reasons. My gpa dropped by .05 last semester because I tried to take 17 units, but that probably was not the reason. I would like to know who got in under the art major.</p>

<p>UCSB will be fine. I’m probably gonna go to France for 2 quarters anyway because I didn’t take 4 French classes for nothing. I feel inspired by this rejection though. Like I still have something to prove. Maybe it is better that it turned out this way.</p>
