<p>I personally would go with U of A because of the great writing program which might even spark a greater interest in writing than acting. I happen to know a very successful playwright who went to college for acting and came out a writer…it happens!!! Don’t “write off” the idea!

<p>Worst case scenario, she gets there and confirms that she doesn’t like either the BFA or BA theatre program then at least she’s in a great writing program and she can feed her theatre passion with performance opportunities/lessons outside the classroom.</p>
<p>Don’t go into big debt just for a NY school.</p>
