If making the choice solely on mailed swag, Kent would probably win with my kid. Tissue paper with the school mascot is a real commitment to the bit (the stuffed lion in a Kent tshirt was immediately claimed by Kid’28’s younger sister, though.)
Andover’s box is pretty on-brand: a very nice, embossed folio with a certificate and a letter of admission. They also sent a sweet personalized video message to the applicant, talking about how much they’d like to see them at Andover next year. (As classy as it is, I think Kid’28 was hoping for some stickers or a postcard, I think.)
Lville’s box is out for delivery today. Last year they sent a beanie and sunglasses along with a handwritten note from the admissions staff. Stalking Instagram, it seems like the content is similar (but not identical) this year
I got a USPS notice that Peddie sent something last week and we all got the contract offer via email, but the box/envelope seems to be in USPS hell for the moment and hasn’t moved from NJ to points west yet.
I told Kid’28 about the @applying_again27 and he said that he’d go out and get crocs if the school sent celebratory jibits!
