<p>if you need a car to get to an off-campus job, you could inquire as to whether that would warrant an exception. a desire to be able to get to party cities would probably not warrant such an exception.</p>

<p>oh and in case you think you can get around the rule by not living in the residential halls freshman year, they also generally require freshman to live on campus. why? another one of their policies.</p>
