<p>My Miele canister vacuum cleaner is around 20 years old and still going strong.</p>
<p>Any recommendations for a vacuum for kid 20’s college grad. Small apartment with hard surface floors but area rugs. Needs something that works for dog hair and long human hair. Present vac is an inexpensive stick Hoover. The long hair and the vacuum do not work well together.
Can one find a under $100 vacuum that works and lasts over a year?</p>
<p>I have an Oreck XL that I have had for going on 20 years now. It clogs easily (I have a German Shepherd) and is a pain to take a part to find said clog. I am eagerly awaiting Kohl’s Black Friday sale to pick up a Dyson (hopefully the Animal) on sale with an extra 30% off and earn Kohl’s cash. </p>
<p>Does anyone have the Pet Grooming set to go with a Dyson? I am curious to know if anyone has had luck getting Fido to cooperate lol.</p>
