Let me suggestion few things for you:
- Start with what do you want to study. Research what the school has to offer in terms of focus areas, special programs….
- What can of research is offered by NYU or better one of its professors that interests you or links up with areas where you have done some work in the past
- Does NYU offer any specific programs or internship that you would like to take advantage of.
- Are there famous courses or professors that you would like to take or study with. Why and how would take advantage.
- How would you be able to contribute to the NYU student community. How would you be able to add value.
- Try to link all of these to gobies or interests that you may have touched upon in your other essays.
- Avoid a mechanical approach to the above. You need to make it flow and come across as sincere about it.
