What's the best ISP in berkeley

^ sometimes, depends on the sales rep. They usually offer reduced installation fee, like 50 bux or something. Just call, threaten to cancel, and get your money back. Piece of cake.

with Comcast, is there no contract / termination fee, or did this only work after your first year?

comcast never has contract/termination fee.

haha, sounds like comcast is the way to go then. It’s faster (6/1.5 vs 6/.75 dl/ul), has higher monthly cap (250 vs. 150… although I’m not positive ATT really enforces theirs?), but I have heard that it’s hard to seed torrents. anyone have experience with torrents / different ISPs?

I have 6 mbps. Downloads max out at around 700kB/s for fresh and really good seed. But on average it’s around 100-200 kB/s. I capped my upload at 30kB/s to have reasonable speed.

I hear Comcast gives out great deals during Caltopia.
