<p>It should be noted that UGA is a public ivy.</p>
<p>CFB53B has some good points. To be honest, if I was actually going to college for my BS then I would not go to UGA. I’m a pre-dental biochemistry major. All hard sciences are the same wherever you go. As long as you go to your flagship university you’re fine.</p>
<p>UGA is making strides. It’s partnership with GHSU is going to draw attention. </p>
<p>Hopefully it’s engineering program takes off and gives a plan B for those students who got rejected from tech but still want to do engineering without losing their soul during undergrad.</p>
<p>It’s pharmacy school is top notch boasting a 98.xx% NAPLEX passrate and it is ranked 26 by US News. </p>
<p>UGA is also making strides in research. If Georgia can strengthen it’s engineering program, build terry back up to beat tech’s business school, get more STEM majors to do research, and get more endowment…I think they will do well.</p>
<p>UGA is not a bad school by any means.</p>
