<p>I have played this game with mixed ages, with just middle schoolers, with families and with women on a Girls’ Beach Weekend. </p>
<p>I just got back from a weekend trip and this game was played for hours. I lost my voice from laughing. Then, today, I dropped the game off at a friend’s house who was hosting Bunco but tossed out the Bunco game in favor of Telestrations instead.</p>
<p>Best Game, bar none. I’ve yet to meet anyone at all who doesn’t love it and promptly go buy their own!</p>
<p>So I have been looking for new games based on suggestions here. Bought Bananagrams and H and I enjoy it. Found a Whoonu Cranium at a thrify store for $1 yesterday which was hardly used! Can’t wait to play. Quiddler sounds like a game H and I will like. May get Forbidden Island and Mille Bornes for Christmas for my sons.
We like short games and the newer board games our family has played are Blokus, Apples to Apples and Last Word.
I played Catch Phrase at parties and liked it a lot.</p>
<p>^^^Mille Bornes is a great game! I suggest the “retro” version rather than the newer version. My brother and I played Mille Bornes as children, and now my kids enjoy it, too. It is easy to learn and great for all ages. There is an element of luck to it, but it is also fun to see whether fellow players will try to heap hazards on their opponents.</p>
<p>Ticket to Ride is a great game. Forbidden Island is also very enjoyable, and is a rarity: a cooperative game where either everybody wins or everybody loses.</p>
<p>Galaxy Trucker is a fun one.
