<p>I wish there were widespread girls’/women’s football teams. 
I wanted to play football as a kid (when I was 10 or 11), because I enjoyed playing two-hand-touch football at recess and was finally becoming good enough to be widely respected by the (other than me, all-male) other players, but my mom wouldn’t let me - she was afraid that the size disparity between me and the boys on the team would lead to my getting seriously hurt.</p>
<p>I would suggest that this school add a women’s football team as well, but there would be the problem of their having nobody to play. Maybe an intramural or club team…</p>
