<p>Has anyone called to see if they’ll tell you the decision over the phone (with my pleading on our part, I’m sure) since the letters were mailed yesterday?</p>
<p>I doubt they will. Imagine you’re an admissions office staff. Would you want 7000+ teenagers calling you over the span of a day? I didn’t think so. Be patient, less than 24 hours left.</p>
<p>jwriter90, they sent out a letter prior to the one you mentioned. It was sent out ca. Jan 4. It started out: “Thank you very much for your application for admission to Middlebury College…”</p>
<p>It included your username and password. Unfortunately, it said in the letter that for security reasons, if you lost the letter they won’t provide the information for you :(</p>

<p>3 years ago at least, I think I remember our decisions were posted at Midnight. Don’t quote me on that though.</p>
<p>I also just heard these stats from someone on campus…I’m not sure if they are official though.</p>
<p>16% overall (RD and ED) acceptance rate for september matriculants.
18% overall (RD and ED) acceptance rate for both february and september matriculants.</p>
<p>Over half of acceptees scored an 800 on at least one section of the SAT I</p>
<p>…I’m already intimidated by next years freshman class.</p>
