<p>OK, folks, the online scheduler (and audition telephone hotline) went into effect this morning at 10 am EST, just as planned. I was fortunate enough to get the audition date my D wanted. I noticed, however, that each time period had a number in parentheses near it, designating (I presume) the number of slots available. So, if a kid has an audition for (for example) 2 p.m. on such and such a date, how long do you think that kid should plan to be there? I ask because our plan is to travel to NYC that a.m. on the train, have her do her thing, and then travel home again that evening. Discounted tickets are possible if they are booked ahead …</p>
