room assignments today?

haven’t gotten an email yet

yeah seriously…they need to get their act together.

On the first year housing application welcome website… they changed it to something like: Please Note: We are finalizing the housing assignments for all first-years. Later this week we will send you an email notifying you that the housing application is available. You can login and view your assignment, dining plan, and roommate information (if applicable) at that time.

they’re just trying to buy themselves more time… later this week probably means Sunday… which is way past “by mid-July”.

I can’t say that I’m surprised that it is challenging to coordinate housing for a ton of people, but for the money I’m paying I sure expected a lot more…

Yale had their residential college and rooms assignments done way back in June.

I think transfers are stuck waiting until late August. Gah.

Tell me about it–even the UCs with 10,000+ freshmen released housing information wayyy back!

I doubt that they’ll release them on a Sunday because they don’t work during the weekends, I don’t believe… so hopefully it’ll be Friday at the latest.

Hopefully this isn’t a prelude to a massive bureaucratic machine that will be our home for the next four years.

GAHHHHHHHH.
I hate waiting.

so. irritated… can’t. wait. any. longer…

yeah…you can say that again.

Everybody check your Cubmail! Housing is in!

The e-mail tells us who our roommate is, but has anybody been able to actually look at their application to see which dorm they are in? The red “Application” tab is not showing up for me.

Never mind…they’ve fixed it.

What do you use to sign in?

The application C######### thing as PID and Month/Day/Year of birthday as password. Damn, I got like my 5th or 6th choice.

grr. >> okay, i tried using MMDDYYYY for the last half hour, and then i randomly tried YYYYMMDD and it works! .__.;;

I know that it works MM/DD/YYYY, but you have to use the slashes.

Does it have any significance if my room in John Jay has an “A” at the end? According to the floor plan that room is almost twice as big as the others, does that mean anything or did I just randomly get lucky.

I got a Furnald double - my last choice :(. The occupancy type says “Double Semi-PB” but I’m not sure what this means. Can anyone explain? Thanks. Also, when I checked the floor plan, it says that the room is a STUDY (374 sf), so I’m quite confused.
