Daughter applied to CBS mid-Oct, accepted Nov 1st with 32 ACT, 4.33 GPA and excellent EC. Received $5K National plus $6K Bentson Family scholarship offer by postal mail this week. Do not think she has received honors invite, but not positive.
Very happy for her since $11K/year total is just enough to make it affordable for her as a non-resident. Due to the steep OOS tuition hikes last year and this year, it’s also much pricier than the total cost in-state at UIUC now, but less than her offers at Iowa, SDSU and Tulane. I think Minnesota might be the front-runner, but anything can happen in the next few months. Big choices ahead!
