When do kids stop growing?

Garland,

You’re right…I was getting worried about it because of the hormones and started buying organic milk. She also loves soy milk. She is actually trying to cut back on milk lately and drinking more water, which is good. I’ve read that you crave what you are allergic to…not sure there’s any truth in it but it’s an interesting theory.

Thanks!

Completely anecdotal, but my sister had a moderate acne problem as a teen and she drank gallons of milk. Our doctor recommended that she cut back on the milk and her skin cleared up. But she did end up 3 inches taller than me.

Wow, Over30, thanks! I just took her to the dermatologist a couple of weeks ago because she has been breaking out a lot. That was the reason she started drinking more water lately to try to clear up her face but NOT because she thought that the milk might be causing it. I had no idea and the dermatologist never said anything about avoiding milk. So, once again, thank you!!

You’re welcome. I have no idea if this is medically proven but something cleared her face up and the only change she made was the milk drinking.
