<p>The standards were definitely a lot higher for regular decision than early decision. Another factory is probably your major. If you see someone with low stats getting accepted, their major probably was not very competitive.</p>
<p>Also, Northeastern’s is actually harder to get into than BU based on average GPA and SAT’s. Since they received so many apps this year (I have no clue how many BU got), The average accepted student at Northeastern will probably have noticeably higher stats than the average at BU.</p>
