Funny story, though… even though the big white envelope was addressed to him, when he opened it and read the letter, it was addressed to someone with the same last name but different first name. Turns out the whole package – scholarship info and all – was the other kid’s. It took us several hours to reach someone who could confirm that he really did get in. Talk about an emotional roller coaster.
