When do we get AP Scholar awards from 2010 administration?

Seems like a lot of people here got the AP Scholar with Distinction award.

Well this is CC after all. :P

My daughter received her AP Scholar with Distinction certificate today. It seems that the letters aren’t necessarily mailed in a particular order, or at least aren’t received in a particular order.

Still didn’t get anything…

Should I contact CB?

Just wait a little bit longer.

hi guys…congrats to all of you for taking AP tests…they are extra work and all awards are well deserved!!!

I think the 2 kids from each state ought to get some kind of scholarship! There are only 104 for the whole country each year. I think the College Board could afford $100 each as a “token” acknowlegedment and $10,400 would likely go unnoticed in their annual budget, I’ll bet.

to mermaid123456–there will be a press release by the state board of education sometime this fall and I’ll bet your high school will have your area newspaper run the story. which high school did you go to? and where are you in college?

btw–my son is the male State AP Scholar for Illinois- My son met the male state AP scholar for Washington State at his college last week.

I have six APs spread over 3 years (1 soph, 2 junior, 3 senior year) - they are all 4’s and 5’s, except for one 3. Does this qualify me as an AP scholar?

^ Yes, you qualify as an AP Scholar with Distinction.

Yes, but I never got anything in the mail, and my school who always gathers this info and prints it on their website, didn’t mention me either. What’s going on???

^ Contact the College Board… maybe there was a mistake on their part.

@ Kiwi_Nights: Check with the College Board. Sometimes it might be a mistake on their part and can fix it up for you on the spot.

That’s great for you and your son. How many AP’s did he take to win the award?

I didn’t receive anything either…

I’m kinda apathetic towards a lot of things now eh…
