<p>And I too thought the rejection letter wasn’t too bad.</p>

<p>It motivated me to re-do my entire application (to good results).</p>

<p>“We expect that admission decisions will be emailed after 5pm (Pacific Time) on April 1”</p>

<p>Is this statement no longer operative?</p>

<p>That is a pretty nice sentiment for a rejection letter.</p>

<p>Kumitedad, Stanford has an official email time and date of April 1, but in the past, the school has sent out results early, when you were least expecting it. Sometimes, it has been the Friday evening before the official date, so some are speculating that maybe Stanford will release early this year also.</p>

<p>I’ve heard a lot of ppl say that the Stanford rejection is brutal, but it doesn’t seem like it. Maybe when I recieve it officially it will. :confused: </p>

<p>I’ve tried imagining scenarios. Imagine fifteen rejections, and one acceptance… my odds probably aren’t even that good.</p>

<p>this does not bode well for the next 6 days: stanford, princeton, and columbia…</p>

<p>It’s okay! In fact, Stanford sometimes in the past (as far as I remember) has accepted UCB rejects. It sometimes happens because the two schools view apps differently – one is a top private and one is a top public. UCB is more stats-focused.</p>

<p>Of course, (not to be too discouraging, just being realistic) most of us here … 90% + … will get the reject letter.</p>

<p>^We were off by a week with Chicago decisions. I wouldn’t be surprised if CC was off with Stanford too. Rumors are rumors. They aren’t necessarily true.</p>

<p>It just helps to perk up the little hope that we have left…</p>
