<p>If you wanted to “cheat” like that, there are so many other ways you could do it. They don’t check every single thing on your application, so you could probably write that you got a bunch of BS awards or something and they’ll believe that. But yeah, I guess you really could take someone else’s essay and try it. Good luck on not getting caught. Now that makes me wonder if they have a computerized thing that automatically checks essays to make sure they aren’t exactly the same as one from before. By the way, they used to have a 3rd personal statement a couple years ago that they got rid of.</p>
