Freshman Seminars are 1 unit and 2 unit classes offered to Freshman as a kind of gap filler to make the 13-15 units in their first quarter. Many interesting topics and a nice GPA booster. My son took a class on Insulin taught by a Professor at the Med school and thought it was a great class along with a amazing professor. Since @PhantomVirgo stated you should take EEC 1 then this will fulfill the purpose of the Freshman Seminar. Freshman are given priority to the Freshman seminars, but 2nd years and up can take these classes room permitting.
