When is Slavery Not Slavery?

Yeah, I’m not buying that. What we do have today that is an unfortunate parallel is the mass incarceration of a specific subset of the population.

You may agree or disagree with Ms. Borelli, but the comparison you point out is not the comparison she makes, but she sees a connection. Certainly, those in prison are not voluntarily giving up the fruits of their labor. Interesting though that you bring up incarceration, as that is one of the ideas she discusses. The separation of family occurred by force during times of slaves and masters, and occurs now through choice and government incarceration. You have demonstrated another aspect of her thoughts on “government plantation”. Thank you, I had forgotten that. I wouldn’t detail her ideas though, because she gets into politics and that isn’t permitted here…
I could send you a pm on her thoughts if you request.
