<p>Working backwards: Harvard sends acceptance notices on the last day of March/April 1st. Before acceptances can be mailed, the financial aid office needs to calculate a FA award for each applicant that has applied for aid. That takes time, especially as Harvard admits about 2100 applicants. Realistically, it’s going to take about 7 to 10 days for the FA to calculate aid for every student that needs it. So, my best guess is on or about March 20th – and that’s when all decisions have been made. If you’e planning on sending an update notice next year, it should be WAY before the cut-off date.</p>
