Hey guys, so the competition that I was talking about what the Chemistry Olympiad. At my region getting a 50/60 always qualifies you for USAChO finalist status. We get the official results back on like March 19th though. Would it be appropriate to send an update earlier claiming to be a finalist(in addition to other awards) if your chem teacher(who has a Masters in Chem) grades your test beforehand(before sending it) and tells you that you got a 55/60? That would leave some room for error.

Thoughts?
