I find the planets inspriring and they’r really awesome views. The mountains are cool though. And ha ha zooimps. Nice.

I’m fine with tears, I just want to know so so so bad. We’re all awesome. And we all deserve to KNOWWWWWWWWWW!!!

Yea the “no later than the 15th” was very reassuring.

Definitely, way better then “mid-December” or “soon”. Everyone else gets dates and times. We can’t even have a date :(

No Chicago is the one that’s more awesome than we are. Chicago is also different … but that doesn’t mean that they can torture us and make themselves seem like they’re so cool with an “Uncommon blog”

Anyways Oh hail to Chicago…

AHHH 60 second rule… just let me post who cares if I still have 2 seconds left???

I KNOW. i hate the way they’re doing this
and all of my friends heard back already from their schools and they keep asking me if i know something - if i did i would’ve f’ing told you…

Das ist true, and we’ll be doubly awesome if we all go to Chicago :D

Yeah I know it bugs me “You have 1 second left” so what???

i just sort of opened this page. mind if i ask when they are supposed to be released? are you for sure on that?

craaaaappppp

my email dinged and i freaked out - stupid the fray newsletter. what happened to them anyway?

I know … if we do we should let each other know who we are … that would be so awesome our quirkyness unites all of us.

Same thing. … I know someone who got into Cornell ED and she’s like did you get into Chicago , and I’m like “They haven’t even told me when they’re posting!” Then she thinks I’m hiding the fact that I got rejected.

I really want to go to Chicago b/c of the quirky atmosphere. Not because of the prestige. That’s why Chicago is so much better than Hahvahd.

cwat: that is a very good question. we’ve spent 17 pages trying to answer it. so far, no definite conclusions.

We have absolutely no idea when they’re supposed to be released. My counselor told me “mid-December”. Someone else posted something about by the 15th. No one really knows (except them of course, and even they may not be sure).

Well I know some people who get their decisions on the 15th. If I knew it would for sure be the 15th I’d be ok right now. But I don’t, it could come out before I post this. Blah.

If today is the ‘Day of Knowing’ as someone, put it, then GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!

I’m keepin gmyself distracted by: [YouTube - Funny News Bloopers pt. I](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=af-jKfipwqA)

Oh well thank you. That would be unfortunate if it was the 15th because there are a lot of notification dates that day. How stressful! Nonetheless, good luck with your extravagant? anticipation.

Imagine … it may very well be true that they’ve made their decisions for us already … at this moment in time they could have marked “Accepted” “Waitlisted” or “Rejected” on our files …

It’s not like they make all the decisions 1 hour prior to posting.

That’d be awesome, I’d love meeting you guys there!

Yeah same here. I like the quirkyness and the focus on intellect and discussion. Reed’s my second choice for the same reason. HYPS are all very stereotypical, nothing really sticks out to me.

I don’t know, I like the Fray. I have their CD, with “How to save a life” and “Over my head” both really good songs. But I think you would’ve preferred a Chicago email over a Fray newsletter right now.

my guidance counselor said they probably uploaded our decisions during that “site maintanence” and are just checking to make sure people get the right letter…it makes sense, in my opinion.

Thanks for the distraction! The Fray is so awesome. Their new single “You Found Me” is pretty good, but I shall always like “How To Save A Life” the most

yes I agree with both of you. I love Chicago because it seems that it’s nerd haven filled with people who have the same quirky, bitter sense of humor as me and the same passion for learning - too good to be true.

The question is, would you prefer to get ANY email over a UChicago one right now?

No … Chicago is above all other things in life right now.
