i doubt there will be a uchicago carnage.

same–g-town deferred. c’mon chicago!

omg SAME - gtown deferred, banking SOOO much on Chicago! I know they’re such different schools, but I wish I could go to both soo badly.

delorean—were you sfs deferred? i was…

I think that “Chicago Catastrophe” sounds pretty neat.

So does anyone think decisions will come out today?

… what’s sfs? sry i like i just joined

school of foreign service- Its a part of Georgetown you can apply to (separate from Georgetown College). It’s slightly more difficult to get into

oh wait School of Foreign service? no, i was to the college, under FLL (faculty of language and linguistics). My bad, haha

We should decide which c-word (no, not that kind) to use to describe the forthcoming decisions. In order of preference, mine would be:

Catastrophe
Carnage
Calamity
Cataclysm

i wish they would come out today.
actually no.
actually YES. it would be easier.
because tuesday i have a physics test i need to study for tomorrow night. i’d have my complete focus on that rather than an a/d/r

I have a physics test Tuesday also, so I’m in the same position.
Crazy.

I’m liking Chicago Carnage, yes yes?

I like convincing myself we won’t need one of those words. ;)

I wouldn’t call it any of them, but if you need a word, “carnage” sounds the most appropiate since the famous slaughterhouses were just a few miles away.

I say UChicago Shakedown, if we wanna go phonetically…

though it’s not a very brutal word, sounds more like a drug bust than a massacre

so, assuming they come out today or tomorrow, around what time should i start refreshing my inbox every 5 seconds?

hahaha, I vote for shakedown.

For those of us who have tests on Tuesday, will you be opening the email on Monday? I’ve got an AP Bio genetics test Tuesday, and I’m pretty sure that I will not study for it if I find out before.

UChicago Conflagration.

Either we:
A) Go down in flames
B) Go to Chicago where our minds will be lit on fire, in a figurative sense that is.

But even then I don’t like that.

UChicago Celebration–we can have a picnic (or a pot luck, or any event with copious amounts of food), what is everyone bringing?

@Signitbank: I had this debate with someone else, (I have a stats test, but its stats so oh well, haha) I said, “Will you really be able to focus on your test and studying knowing that your decision is right there in your email?”

Very true. Might as well check it when it comes out.

And I’m bringing yams to the Celebration. Large and delicious yams.
