When will decisions be released?

What’s this Pokemon stuff you people keep talking about???

lol jk

I traded away my “Trading Card Game” cartridge for this guy’s entire (or so he said…) pokemon collection when I was young. I sorely regret it.

^hahaha niiiice…i remember it was a pretty good game

On my list, Pokemon’s pretty much next to Mario. I mean, what couldn’t you like about going around killing animals and capturing them for your own use? (animal rights issues)

I think I still have the Pokemon theme song memorized. (Pokemon = good times of the 90s. Look at the crappy world around us today)

Wow I better focus or else I’m gonna bomb Physics.

Whenever I play the Pokemon videogame, I encounter some serious cognitive dissonance. (Imagining pokemon as a reality) I always wonder what happens to all the pokemon I “faint” and what the inside of a pokeball looks like. For real.

What does the inside of a pokeball look like?

Probably like the inside of the Death Star…since they are both so similar…

A really really cramped metal shell. Inside there’s a transporter that takes your Pokemon to a parallel universe.

JK. I never really thought of that question.

ab2013, not bad tho.

What a great discussion. I gave all of the pokemon cards I owned to my brother about a year ago. He thought they were so lame though, apparently they have new images for all of the original pokemon so my cards circa 1998 are not cool with the current under 10 crowd.

But yeah new images, that is our childhood they are messing with! Oh wells, I should just keep them for myself and make some bank down the road… oh our consumerism driven society, how you like to collect random things at inflated values–love ya!

the 15th email said that htey would be ready to send on the 15th, not neccesarily that they would send them.

I kind of thought about it, but not extremely hard. I guess I always imagiend a white empty space where you wait and wait until wham! Your out of the pokeball. Same with the PC. How do you put a live creature into a PC???

It’s kind of funny, for right now cc has become the main source of my distraction/procrastination. Irony in action.

now, i remember playing the red version intensely for hours on end…
and then dropping the gameboy only to see that the screen has been distorted.

hours of effort gone to waste. what a shame…haha

lol
i bet a chicago ad dean would be rather concerned about the incoming class if he saw what we were talking about XD

I remember being very flusterated when I’d do hours and hours of work, and then the battery would die…

Or perhaps they’d find the conversation so enthralling they’d admit all of us XD

thats entirely possible…still no decisions out
*sighhh

vhoidz, if any school could appreciate a conversation of how nostalgic we all are for pokemon/the 90’s, it would be Chicago :)

Dude, the 90’s were the $hit. Pokemon, gameboy (COLOR, b!tches!), sailor moon, gundam, beanie babies, grunge alterna-rock, non-emo boy bands, spice girls (kind of kidding about those last two lol)…what will this decade be remembered for? Emo kids? Pretentious hipsters/indie kids?

I second that spazzity! You don’t see this on any other thread for other schools here on CC.

guys when it comes to pokemon, i rock. I collected all the versions of gameboy packs red blue yellow, which made my eyes sore and wear glasses. I had all lv. 100 150 pokemons, including mew and mewtwo. I watched pokemon the movie and everything.

I was all about Charmander/Charmeleon/Charizard. btw has anyone seen the wikipedia articles for individual Pok

I’ve been likened to sandslash in the past- I’m not sure if that’s a good thing…
