When will the Class of 2024 admissions profile be up for UF?

@FLParent888 - I, too, keep hoping something will be posted soon. I wish they hadn’t indicated in that newspaper article it would be forthcoming if that weren’t the case. I get that Spring Break might have interfered with the timing of the release, but that is now over.

Has anyone called admissions to ask about it?

Would someone explain why this is critical to know? What do you plan to do with this information? Genuinely don’t understand.

Have to agree with @fl1234. I’m as curious as the next person, but I don’t think we are entitled to this information within any particular timeframe.

I’m interested in knowing for next year’s admissions. Want to know where my child falls in the middle 50%.

It’s just one snapshot of how competitive the admissions process was this year.

Just saw this in the UF admissions page today. My guess is it’s probably fall admit numbers but not sure

2020 Freshman Profile
Middle 50 Percent
GPA: 4.4 - 4.6
ACT: 30-33
SAT: 1320-1460

Last year:
The Class of 2023:
Middle 50% Academic Core GPA: 4.3-4.6
Middle 50% SAT: 1330-1460
Middle 50% ACT: 29-33

UF has the numbers, but we usually learn about them via the independent alligator (student paper) or Gainesville Sun. Both likely haven’t requested the data.

Most of UF’s News releases have been focused on COVID-19, online learning and awards.

I think it’s just something that fell off everyone’s radar.

@flprepaidmom I did not see this on the admissions page. Would you happen to have a link? I searched but could not find one anywhere. Normally is would say 2024 Freshman Profile, and I see ours says 2020, but maybe I’m confused.

@UFHopefulmom The 2020 is the correct information. I messaged them on twitter and asked for a breakdown of summer vs fall and they said they are not breaking that down.

@flprepaidmom - Thank you. Yes, I was not looking summer vs. fall, but just could not find the information posted on the UF site at all and since it said 2020 and not 2024, I thought maybe that was old info.
