When will UChicago break into HYP?

UChicago passed up HYP in about 1893.

The University of Chicago has long been the most intellectual university in the country. Graduates of UChicago win more Nobel Prizes per capita than graduates of HYP.

Any serious intellectual or intelligent person knows this. I’m not speaking of uninformed high school students who sound as though they are trying out for the cheerleading team. Alfred North Whitehead, a Harvard professor, compared UChicago with Ancient Athens. Harvey Mansfield, another Harvard professor, in 2013 reiterated UChicago’s supremacy.

If you want to be silly and shallow and uneducated and poorly read, go to HYP. Otherwise, choose the best and go with UChicago.

If you want to see a deer in the headlights look, just say the word Plato to a HYP student and see the blank look you get. They’re too busy watching MTV, according to their admissions office.

But the good news is UChicago is rising in popularity MUCH faster than any other school in the country. Over the past two years, Harvard’s applications have increased by 75. UChicago’s increased by 11,000.
