<p>I get that this is hyperbole, but yikes.</p>
<p>As someone who’s idea of a wild party is discussing modern French philosophy, I know a lot of intellectual heavyweights, and they would have qualms with what you said. For fear of blasphemy I think I ought not say it, but there are blisteringly smart people who go to colleges that are not ever remotely famous.</p>
<p>Do I believe that Chicago is the best school in the world? I wholeheartedly do. But I understand that there is a legitimate argument for other schools, and for the nonexistence of one singular “best” college.</p>
